Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide directly to us, data generated automatically when you use the Platform, and data retrieved via third-party integrations that you explicitly authorize.
A. Personal Data You Provide
Account Information: Name, email address, password, company name, billing address, and payment information (processed via secure, third-party payment gateways).
User Content: Marketing copy, keywords, targeting parameters, search queries, schedules, and assets uploaded to the Platform.
B. App-Specific & Integration Data (Third-Party APIs)
Depending on which application within the Microsells Platform you utilize, we connect to third-party services to provide core functionalities:
GEO Pro App: To analyze Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) metrics and brand citations, we collect public search query variations, website URLs, and brand names you input. We interact with various AI model outputs and LLM APIs to retrieve citation and visibility data.
Social Media Planner App: If you connect your social media profiles (e.g., Meta/Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter), we collect tokens, profile data, and analytics necessary to schedule, publish, and track your social media content.
STAG App: To generate and manage Single Theme Ad Groups, you may connect your advertising accounts (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads). We collect and sync campaign structures, keyword lists, targeting data, and performance metrics to optimize and generate importable configurations (such as CSVs for Google Ads Editor).
C. Automated Data Collection
Log and Usage Data: IP addresses, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, device information, pages viewed, and the dates/times of your visits.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
To Provide and Maintain the Platform: Managing your account, authenticating your login, and ensuring the seamless operation of GEO Pro, Social Media Planner, and STAG.
To Process API Requests: Interfacing with third-party networks (Google Ads, Meta Graph API, LinkedIn API, etc.) to publish content or manage ad groups as directed by you.
To Improve the Platform: Analyzing usage trends to optimize software performance, fix bugs, and design new marketing optimization features.
Billing and Support: Processing payments, issuing invoices, and responding to customer support inquiries.
Security and Compliance: Preventing fraudulent activity, protecting our intellectual property, and complying with legal obligations.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data or proprietary marketing configuration data to third parties. We only share information under the following circumstances:
Third-Party Service Providers: We share data with trusted vendors who perform services on our behalf, including payment processing (e.g., Stripe), hosting/infrastructure providers, and analytics tools. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality agreements.
API Integrations Authorized by You: Data is sent to third-party platforms (like Google, Meta, or LinkedIn) strictly to execute tasks you trigger (e.g., publishing a post or syncing an ad group). We adhere strictly to the developer policies of these respective platforms.
Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, or court order, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of Microsells, our users, or the public.
Data Security
We implement robust technical and organizational security measures to safeguard your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. This includes the use of industry-standard encryption protocols (SSL/TLS) for data in transit and secure storage environments for API access tokens.
However, please be aware that no security system is completely impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee 100% security of data transmitted over the internet.
Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal data and application data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required to meet legal, tax, or regulatory obligations.
Account Deletion: You can delete your Microsells account at any time through your dashboard profile settings or by contacting support.
API Disconnection: You can revoke Microsells’ access to your Google Ads, Meta, or other social media accounts at any time via the respective platform’s security settings or directly inside the Microsells integrations dashboard. Upon disconnection, stored access tokens are immediately purged from our servers.
